Keith Banks Prior to entering the dance program, college cheerleading offered the physical outlet for Banks' intense athleticism and helped develop his core beliefs on movement efficiency. He was part of a nationally ranked squad from Kansas State University who performed advanced stunts and acrobatics skills on national television. Professional company experiences include Margaret Wingrove Dancers and Robert Moses' Kin. Industrials and video work include working with George Lucas and Microsoft, Twining Teas, ads for Dockers, Hollister, Inc. (HMO), and Silicon Graphics & Applied Materials. For many seasons, Keith danced the role of the Arabian Prince in Nutcracker, as guest artist for San Jose Dance Theatre. He also performed in the American Musical Theater's production of Dreamgirls. Keith has traveled the globe as adjudicator and master teacher clinics with several national and international organizations. Travel included dance productions and ambassador of goodwill in Japan, Ireland, Canada and Russia. Mr. Banks has also served on the teaching staffs at Evergreen College and San Jose State University. |

Galadriel Burr A native Californian, Ms. Burr began her study at 9 years old with Mary Knight, the director of the Mendocino Ballet. She later studied extensively, with Deborah Palesch of Palesch Pacific Ballet, eventually joining the company. Some notable choreographers she has worked with include Antonio Lopez, Carlos Carvajal, Barbara Begany and Norman Leggot. Ms. Burr has performed both lead and corp de ballet roles in Esmeralda, Firebird, Giselle, Nutcracker, Pacquita, Swan Lake and many others. She has also studied and performed Flamenco and Spanish dance with Clifford Jones of International Dance Theatre. After completing school, she joined the Fort Wayne Ballet in Indiana, working under directors Michael Tevlin and Robert Kelley. There she performed original works as well as more familiar Beauty and the Beast, Carmen and Cinderella. Since returning to California, Galadriel has performed as a guest artist with local ballet companies, San Jose Dance Theatre, Mendocino Ballet and Western Ballet and taught in many schools throughout northern California. |

Lauren Ivie Lauren was born and raised in San Jose CA. With nearly two decades of dance experience and a whole lot of support from her wonderful parents, Lauren has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Modern dance. She owes most of her training to Instructor and Mentor, Keith Banks. She also attended the arts program at Lincoln High School. There, Lauren was able to compete nationally with the "Lincoln Convertibles". Lauren has performed in many halftime shows for the 49ers, East West Shriners, and the Oakland Raiders. She has trained at many California conventions and studios, but remains steadfast in her 14-year relationship with Studio 10 Dance. Her teaching experience has covered several ages and levels of dance. Working with Children’s Musical Theatre of San Jose has allowed her to not only perform in shows—Westside Story, Smokey Joe’s Café and Thoroughly Modern Millie are a few of her favorites—but she has also taken the position as choreographer. Lauren was also Co-Director of Full Force Dance Company in Chico, CA from 2003 - 2005. As a recent graduate of San Jose State University with a B.A. in Dance under Fred Matthews, Gary Masters and Janie Scott, she was able to grow as a Modern and improvisational dancer as well as a choreographer. Her work has been seen in several SJSU shows. Currently, Lauren is the Outreach Associate of San Jose Repertory Theatre where she works with Red Ladder Theatre Company under Karen Altree Piemme. She has a wide variety of interests, which include Yoga, art projects, hiking, improv acting, photography and gardening. “Movement never lies. Danny George Dancing since the age of 14, Danny has had extensive training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern, musical theatre and hip-hop. He has studied and trained with great teachers such as Keith Banks, Doug Caldwell and, Pamm Drake. In 1999, he graduated from CSU Hayward with degrees in Dance and History. Since 1993, he has been a member of the United Spirit Association (USA) Dance/Drill Instructional Staff, where he choreographs and teaches dance camps through out the United States. Still performing as a professional dancer, he's a 10-year member of the Visual Rhythm Dance Company and danced in the independent film, "Shut Up and Dance, the Movie". He’s choreographed the 1998 Paris France New Year's Parade and the 2002 East-West Shrine Game Half-time performance through USA. In addition to Studio 10 he is also a full-time faculty member for the Lincoln High School dance department. At Lincoln, he teaches all levels from beginning to advanced, and is the director of the Championship dance team, the Lincoln Convertibles. Danny is very honored to be a apart of the Studio 10 staff, and really loves to share is passion of dance with his Studio 10 students and dancers. |

Gayle Greenbrook Gayle Greenbrook had a successful career as a child actress and vocalist. She retired at eighteen and went into competitive roller-skating achieving national status. She hung up her skates and went back to her first love...dance, tap in particular. Gayle has been very fortunate in being able to study with such masters as Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Sam Weber, Dianne Walker, Fred Strickler, Eddie Brown and Fayard Nicholas. Gayle has taught all over the Bay Area and started with Studio 10 in 1992, now calling it her home base. She is the founder and artistic director of "Tap Explosion" the south bay's only tap dance company. Gayle and "Tap Explosion" have been successful since 1995. An accomplished singer she also teaches voice lessons out of her home and at Studio 10 Dance. |

Nicole Foisy Nicole Foisy has taught Jazz and Lyrical at Studio 10 Dance since 1996 to students ranging in age from 7 years to adult. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Santa Clara University, where she studied on scholarship in Dance and Interpersonal Communications. Nicole started with United Spirit Association (USA) in 1996 and is currently the National Dance/Drill Program Director. She serves as a judge at dance competitions at both the State and National level. Nicole has choreographed and assisted in the production of several NFL and collegiate halftime productions for the 49ers, the East West Shrine Game & the Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii. She traveled to Tokyo, Japan on behalf of the USA to direct and instruct a dance camp to over 200 students. In addition, Nicole has worked extensively as a director, master teacher, and choreographer for several award-winning competitive dance teams and soloists. |

Karen Chuang Though Karen began dance at a very young, she did not fully become passionate about it until recent years. She currently studies with the Teen Dance Company of the Bay Area, a pre professional company for dancers serious about entering into the dance field as an artist. Both J.E. Talent in San Francisco and DDO Talent Agency in Los Angeles currently represent her for dance, modeling, and acting. Karen has appeared in numerous commercials and corporate films including Direct TV, Verizon Wireless, and HBO. She has also received many different awards, including National Senior Icon at the Hollywood Connection Nationals in 2005 as well as 2006. Her most recent choreographic achievements includes winning first place in the dance/choreography division at the Annual Olympiad of the Arts Festival held by Mission College for her solo “Back” as well as the “Originality Award” for her piece “Sunshowers”. Karen hopes use her unique style and choreography to one day have a successful career as an artist. |

Margret Faylor Margret debuts this year at Studio 10 Dance, but boasts 16 years of experience specializing in Jazz, Tap, and Creative Dance. She enjoys working with beginner level students, where she applies her unique ability to communicate with up & coming dancers in the pre- teen classes. Margret has coached and choreographed for competitive dance teams, served as judge for high school and studio competition teams, in addition to coordinating numerous recitals . H er love for dance started in high school, where she was a member of a CA State award winning high school dance team. She later danced professionally for the San Jose Sabercats (Saberkittens) and the Golden State Warriors NBA team. She feels fortunate to be part of an outstanding team promoting proper dance technique, fun and overall love of movement at Studio 10 Dance. |
